This policy describes how Emberly handles your information. It applies to the app and to this website.
Who is responsible
The controller of your data is Webelover (company details will be completed before launch). Contact: support@webelover.com.
What we store
Your journal entries: the symptom, its intensity, the date and time and any note you write, and your settings such as reminders and language. Journal entries are health data.
Optional account and sync
An account is optional. If you create one, we store your e-mail address and a password hash, and we back up and sync your data so you can restore it on a new device.
Health data
A symptom journal is health data, a special category of personal data under Article 9 of the GDPR. We process it only with your explicit consent, which the app asks for before anything is stored on a server. You can withdraw consent at any time, and we then stop processing and delete the data.
Purchases
Paid features are bought through the App Store or Google Play. RevenueCat manages purchases and receives an identifier and your purchase status. We never see your card details.
Why we use it
To provide the app, to keep your account and purchases working, to keep the service secure and to meet legal obligations. There is no advertising and we do not sell your data.
Who receives it
Service providers acting on our behalf: hosting and database (Railway), content delivery and DNS (Cloudflare), purchase management (RevenueCat), and Apple and Google for purchases.
How long we keep it
Data kept only on your device is removed when you uninstall the app. Account data is kept while your account exists and is deleted within 30 days after you ask us to delete it.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, a copy, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Write to support@webelover.com. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
Changes
If we change this policy in a material way, we will say so in the app and on this page.
